With over 24 years of experience and a fierce dedication to continuing education, Deirdre possesses a rare ability to address individual speech and language needs. She draws from a wide range of knowledge and overlapping disciplines to facilitate patient breakthroughs, achieving quick and lasting results that are unparalleled in the field. As the founder of NYC Speech-Language Pathologist, Deirdre is passionate about training and overseeing all therapists, ensuring that patients and families receive the highest level of expertise and care.

Deirdre specializes in treating infants, children, and adults with a diverse array of issues. In addition to traditional speech and language therapy, she addresses a critical gap in the field by providing Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT), a highly effective yet lesser-known therapy for certain children and adults. Supporting her holistic approach to patient care, she collaborates with a network of doctors and healthcare professionals, including ENTs, orthodontists, orthotropic specialists, sleep specialists, dentists, oral surgeons, craniosacral therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and pulmonologists.

No matter who she is serving or partnering with, Deirdre strives to develop family-like relationships based on care, trust, and dedication to patient success. Outside of work, Deirdre enjoys hot yoga, traveling, spending time with family and friends, walking, and cycling.
